The Environment and Development News, Eden is one of the foremost English language media reference in the Republic of Cameroon. Founded in 2004 as an independent subsidiary of the Center for the Environment and Rural Transformation, CERUT all of which are based in the City of Limbe, South-West Province of Cameroon. The philosophy of Eden is premised on the development of the human kind in all its facets and transmission of useful information that directly increases the awareness and produce positive response as well as the active participation of the rural and urban masses to initiatives that directly impact the uplifting of man’s status. The Eden Media Group is composed of professionals from various domains as diverse as the media. Its mission is to inform and educate Cameroonians about issues of sustainable development based on the belief that the human individual is both the main target and the major instrument for development.
